The 7/7 London Bombings

As with most of the posts on this blog, I make no attempt to include all the information available on the various subjects. The purpose of the posts is to draw attention to and raise awareness of the various subjects, and to provide links to other data sources to allow people to do their own research.

As I say in the introduction to the appendix of Psyclone, knowledge is power. The simplicity of the statement conceals its implications. Basically, the more you know, the bigger your advantage; the less you know, the bigger your disadvantage. For that reason restriction and suppression of information is a very basic social control technique. Very basic and very easy given that control of the media has been consolidated into such few hands. Failing to consider the aims and effects of the overall media output, as well as its detail, is dangerously naïve. Even a cursory glance at facts reveals mainstream media’s worrying links, policies and agendas. Whatever you see on television, hear on the radio, or read in the newspapers has been, at the very least,
allowed. More often than not though, it has been meticulously designed using principles of behavioural psychology and linguistics toward very specific aims. Put another way, if your channels of information are confined to those listed above, then your awareness, your reality, is being manipulated and compromised.

If you don’t have time at this moment to give this, or any other post on this blog, the attention it needs you can bookmark it and/or save it as a pdf and read it (and the data at the provided links) another time. All of the information shared through any of the Psyclone outlets (book, website, blogs) is important enough to spend time over.

___________

Today is the anniversary of the 2005 London Bombings. Any mention in the mainstream media will probably be along the lines of reinforcing the official narrative and justification for the, as the July Seventh Truth Campaign describes it, ‘imposition of Draconian new legislation that criminalises protest, dissent and opposition to the government, its policies and the way in which it enforces them.’

On this day, seven years ago,  London was hit by a series of explosions. 56 people were killed and 700 injured. You probably think you know what happened that day. But you don’t.

The police have, from the onset of their investigation, chosen to withhold from the public almost every bit of evidence they claim to have and have provably lied about several aspects of the London Bombings.

The mainstream news has wilfully spread false, unsubstantiated and unverifiable information, while choosing to completely ignore the numerous inconsistencies and discrepancies in the official story

The government finally, after a year, presented us with their official ‘narrative’ concerning the event. Within hours it was shown to contain numerous errors, a fact since admitted by the Home Secretary John Reid. They have continuously rejected calls for a full, independent public inquiry. Tony Blair himself described such an inquiry as a ‘ludicrous diversion’. What don’t they want us to find out?

The following is possibly one of the best documentaries of the day. The documentary runs to a littleover two hours and can also be viewed parts through YouTube. July Seventh Truth Campaign provides comprehensive (very comprehensive) research into the events of that day. Their website is an essential resource for understanding the issues. J7 are campaigning for a full public inquiry, in the name of peace, truth and justice, and dedicated to all the innocent victims, injured and their families.

‘The Magic Bomb Theory’  challenges the validity of the official accounts specifically regarding the train bombing.  The article focuses on the experience of Bruce Lait, a survivor from the train. In “I was in tube bomb carriage – and survived”, the Cambridge Evening News article mentioned in ‘The Magic Bomb Theory’, Lait’s description of events brings into question the official narrative in several ways. For instance, the thought-provoking comment made by a policemen as Ben and his dance partner were helped of the train, ” a policeman pointed out where the bomb had been. “The policeman said ‘mind that hole, that’s where the bomb was’. The metal was pushed upwards as if the bomb was underneath the train. They seem to think the bomb was left in a bag, but I don’t remember anybody being where the bomb was, or any bag,”A copy of the report is available here.

More questions were raised by an eyewitness account from a passenger aboard the No.30 bus that exploded in Tavistock Square. Escaping the blast was just the beginning for Londoner, Daniel Obachike. Things took a sinister turn after he called the anti-terrorist hotline the next day reporting the two dark cars he’d witnessed holding up the bus before it was redirected to Tavistock Square. Instead of being contacted to provide a witness statement, what followed was seven months of round-the-clock surveillance by British Intelligence operatives. Their menacing tactics pushed Daniel close to the edge, but also edged him closer to unravelling the astonishing truth that lay behind what took place in Tavistock Square. This information needs to be made public, and questions like ‘why was the bus stopped, held, and then redirected along a different route by unidentified persons in two black Mercedes immediately prior to the explosion?’ answered. The Center for Research on Globalisation hosts a page of analysis and reports from a variety of credentialed sources, which are invaluable in balancing official reports and responses with behind the scenes information and penitent questions.

The London Bombings – July 7th 2005

From J7: The July 7th Truth Campaign

DO WE REALLY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED ON 7/7?

  • What if four young British Muslim men had been tried and convicted by the State and media of crimes for which no legitimate evidence had ever been presented to the public?
  • What if police investigations into terrorism in Britain routinely involved the manufacture of evidence to convict wholly innocent people and the suppression of evidence that proved their innocence? Remember the Birmingham Six, Guildford Four, Maguire 7, Judith Ward and Danny McNamee, to name but a few?
  • What if the only piece of ‘evidence’ ever presented to the British public, which purports to show the four perpetrators together outside Luton station, is inadmissible as evidence because three of the men’s faces are completely unidentifiable?
  • What if there was no CCTV footage in the public domain showing three of the alleged perpetrators actually in London on 7/7?
  • What if the train operating companies, police and even the Prime Minister reported the underground blasts as occurring on completely different train lines and at completely different locations to the story published in the official Home Office report?
  • What if the official Home Office 7/7 report was confusing on every crucial detail from the movements of the accused, right through to the blast locations on the affected trains?
  • What if the Home Secretary admitted the Home Office 7/7 report placed the accused on a train from Luton to London that was cancelled and did not run on 7th July 2005? What if the Home Office error arose from “conflicting witness statements”?
  • What if a series of Freedom of Information requests lodged by J7 had twice forced the government to amend their ‘narrative’ and what if those amendments resulted in an even less coherent story than the one that placed the alleged perpetrators on a cancelled train?
  • What if nobody had ever heard the stories of the train drivers that morning and all frontline transport and emergency services staff were actively and expressly forbidden from talking to the media about what happened on 7/7?
  • What if the Iqra bookshop in Beeston, Leeds, at which it is claimed the alleged perpetrators were radicalised, was run by Martin ‘Abdullah’ McDaid, a British Muslim ‘convert’ and ex anti-terrorist operative in the elite Special Boat Service?
  • What if, one month before 7/7, a piece of legislation came into force, the Inquiries Act 2005, which guaranteed that there could be no such thing as an ‘independent’ or‘public’ inquiry under its terms?
Do we really know what happened on 7/7?

“I do accept that people want to know exactly what happened, and we will make sure that they do…. We will bring together all the evidence that we have and publish it, so that people—the victims and others— can see exactly what happened….. we will publish a full account of all the information that we have.”

— Tony Blair, 14th December 2005

The government have not published “a full account of all the information”, nor have they brought together and published all the evidence. The British public cannot “see exactly what happened”, or how it happened, or who was responsible for making it happen.

  • The economics of 7/7 and other mysteries of Capitalism explained – an article written specially for the July 7th Truth Campaign by writer and journalist William Bowles.
  • Capitalising on Terror: Who is really destroying our freedoms? – A look at how 7/7 has been used as the justification for the imposition of Draconian new legislation that criminalises protest, dissent and opposition to the government, its policies and the way in which it enforces them.
  • July 7th as Machiavellian State Terror? – A new article for J7 by Professor David MacGregor in which the events of 7/7 are placed in their historical and political context and examined as potential acts of what MacGregor refers to as ‘Machiavellian state terror, spectacular violence perpetrated against the state by elements of the state itself’.

Wikileaks from a variety of angles

I’ve had my last word on Wikileaks. The issue is so important though that I’ve introduced this post in which I’ll keep posting links to other sources who haven’t.

Whilst it’s not my habit to present information from solely one source, initially at least, the majority of links are to articles posted on the website of the Center for Research on Globalisation (CRG). CRG is a Montreal-based independent research and media organisation with an international network of independent journalists, researchers, and scholars. In my experience of it over the last decade I have found it to be an exceptional source for insightful, balanced, and informative material, but as I say in Psyclone and on the Centre of the Psyclone, don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself and see what conclusions you reach.

Keep your eyes and mind open, and don’t stop asking questions.

My Last Word on Wikileaks

I mentioned in a previous post on the same subject how my feelings about the herd-mentality behaviour I’m witnessing have led to me seriously considering disconnecting from networks like Twitter. The behaviour I was referring to was the knee-jerk reactions to what I called the Wikileaks Circus. In the post I called for more critical thinking, and provided what few references I had at the time to facilitate that.

Fortunately there are critical thinkers out there, able and prepared to put the time in to research and share balanced and uncompromised information. The following links are to articles and posts by a few of those lights in the fog, those jewels in the mud.

That the stampede of the unthinking is so threatening and the safety of the sane steadiness so rare still moves me to reconsider my position and role. Perhaps it’s because I’m tired after a long journey, but how am I to feel when those I once considered intelligent, aware, rational, and free-thinking join minds and voice with that choir that’s orchestrated by the hand of the state conductor, especially, as is pointed out in the last of the above articles, they’re singing a variation of the same song sung not so long ago?

Depressing days indeed.

It’s Time to Think About Wikileaks

The reason I feel moved to be sat here at four o’clock in the morning writing this is because I’ve become increasingly disturbed and demoralised by the general herd-like reactions I’m witnessing in response to the circus that’s in town.

At the beginning of the month I wrote a post ‘Wikileaks? Wait a Minute! describing my misgivings and providing several links to other sources that seemed to confirm them. Since then, as I say, my feelings on the fiasco haven’t improved, and in fact have worsened and intensified as people’s reaction has become more sheep-like, more sheeple than people . It’s got to a point where I don’t even want to hear the word anymore as it’s become synonymous in my mind with lack of critical thought.

I was so relieved to find and read 12 Theses on Wikileaks by Geert Lovink and Patrice Reimans from Network Cultures, an extremely well thought out, lucid and articulate analysis and critique of the phenomenon. I thoroughly recommend it for its call to rational, lateral thinking.

Days passed and the circus remained, and I withdrew some more in reaction to the continued and louder baaing of the sheeple.

It’s not my way to be passive though  and I had to look into it more, and began my search with possible connections between George Soros who, as was pointed out in my earlier article, had funded Wikileaks through the Open Society Institute.

Soros’ name has appeared associated with the likes of CIA and Mossad, as well as other questionable global finance dealings and involvements, and it was this connection that was the jump point for my search. The following links and overviews are some of the results. During my searches I noticed another example of herd-like behaviour, the repetition of a piece from the Wayne Masden report that most quote, as I did in my earlier article,  some verbatim. This increased my questioning of the way information and possibly disinformation is passed around networks.

As with my earlier article, I’m not trying get people to think a certain thing or way. I’m just trying to get them to think. These articles provide some dots that are missing from both the mainstream and some side streams, and allow for a more comprehensive picture to emerge. The conclusions will be up to each individual.

Among other things Shadow Government: CIA, Mossad and Soros Behind Wikileaks points out is that on the Wikileaks advisory board is Ben Laurie, a one-time programmer and Internet security expert for Google, which recently signed a cooperative agreement with the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) and has been charged by China with being part of a U.S. cyber-espionage campaign against China. It also contains some reasoning behind the possible Wikileaks/Assange move to Iceland within the context of Soros’ international finance dealings.

In Soros, the CIA, Mossad and the new media destabilization of Iran
Alex Jones presents a very interesting perspective with an historical description and analysis of intelligence agency destabiliation techniques leading up to the current one in which “Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other social media are being employed to amplify the effect of (and the impression of) internal protests.”

The November 27 article Wikileaks, A Touch of Assange and the Stench of AIPAC (AIPAC is Washington’s major pro-Israeli lobbying group) anticipates the contents of the next disclosures in the context of an Israeli government agenda

Writing for Veterans Today Gordon Duff also questions Israel’s involvement with Wikileaks Working for Israel

The San Francisco Bay Area Independent Media Center article WikiLeaks ‘struck a deal with Israel’ over diplomatic cables leaks provides several Middle East and European (German) news agency articles that corroborate claims of Israeli/Mossad involvement

***

I began this post describing my feelings about the herd-mentality behaviour I’m witnessing. That it has been so widespread has led to me seriously considering disconnecting from networks like Twitter.

If the Wikileaks circus is a creation of and/or being used by intelligence agencies or other spooks, as it seems to be, what does that say about the well-meaning, but misguided and inexcusably gullible cyberactivists with their combined kick back. Especially if, as Alex Jones’ describes in the above article, intelligence agency destabilisation models have developed to include the predictable reaction of  network activists, who seem too blinded with their online ‘freedom’ and sense of power to smell a rat.

For instance, the hacktivists who took down the companies that ‘attacked’ Wikileaks. Now okay, companies like MassterCard might be fair game, but what of the domino affect of the DDoS attacks on innocent, possibly Wikileaks-loving, Assange fans? Or the potential justification such actions create for the already-in-the-pipeline plans for greater governmental control of the Internet?

If it was an intelligence agency psyop*, the architects of it must be wetting themselves to see such a mass gobbling of hook, line and sinker, as people played right into their hands.
Whatever your conclusions after reviewing the material linked to above, I think we can agree, some thinking is in order.

Knowledge is power. Your ignorance is their bliss.
